Organ, piano, bass
Since 2009, Willem's been on tour with The Doors In Concert, mastering the art of playing bass with his left hand and organ solos with his right. This skill proved perfect when Yes Mother took shape. No need for a bassist when his left hand could handle it!
Willem's style is a unique blend of Romantic classical influences (think Chopin, Schubert, Satie) and bluesy rock 'n roll (inspired by Ray Manzarek, of course). You'll hear plenty of these flavours in Yes Mother's music, as Willem composed most of it! Working alongside Daan, who adds his own spin to the compositions, they make a solid team since they began writing together in 2014.
With drummer Daan (yep, same name, sometimes it confuses us too) and guitarist Sander joining in 2022, things took off, finally leading to our debut album!
