Daan and Willem have been a creative duo since they first met in The Doors In Concert, where they discovered a shared passion for music. Their collaboration began in 2014, with Willem crafting the musical foundation and Daan adding lyrics that bring each piece to life. This synergy eventually grew into Yes Mother, with the lineup expanding for their debut album: a project they're immensely proud of.
Daan's vocal style adapts to the song's mood, from the gritty edge of Risky Business and Pesticide Paradise to the softer tones of 100 Years Of Lightning and Roam. His lyrics, often drawn from personal experiences, are crafted to resonate with a wide audience. Influenced by classic and stoner rock, Daan's input is crucial across all aspects of the band, making him, along with Willem, a driving force behind Yes Mother.
