Because Yes Mother likes to keep it weird, we knew we couldn't just plug our ancient equipment into your regular state of the art modern machinery.
We had some stories to tell on this record. Mainly about heartbreak, from either love or weltschmerz, and the stuff people use to try and glue it back together. Whether there's a red, silver, thin or other line to be found is up to you.
Kindled by the great bands of the sixties and seventies, we had songs appearing at random late nights by bouncing ideas back and forth. Usually around midnight, mostly after drinks. As neither of us lives in the same city, we'd send sound snippets around over which we then recorded other ideas, eventually stringing it into something we thought alright.

This band came to life while touring with The Doors In Concert: a tribute band that takes pride in using authentic equipment from the sixties. We shared a love for the great sounds from that era and became friends along the ride. You can probably hear and feel some Doorsy influences in our sound. We don't even have a bassist! That's all Fender Rhodes, baby.
