Since joining The Doors In Concert in 2020, Daan’s drumming has been shaped by John Densmore’s style, but he’s also drawn from his work with bands like Cavolo Nero (funky, afrobeat, psychedelic) and the gritty DRUM&BEEKER from his hometown of Venlo. This background gives him a rich mix of rock, jazz, blues, and funk.
In the studio, Daan’s experience was key in crafting our album. With an eye for structure and rhythm, he helped turn rough ideas into full songs, adding thoughtful tweaks that brought each track to life. Laid-back yet driven, he gets things done and keeps the beat steady, always with a creative twist.
